We had discovered a small artisan weaving community, away from the noise of the world. There were no fancy machines, only handlooms, experience, and the quiet magic of people who’ve spent their lives creating fabric by hand.
We came home, but their process, the slow, intentional rhythm of weaving, stayed with us.
A few weeks later, we went back, this time not as visitors but as partners. That’s when Rangkriti took shape, a homegrown label dedicated to bringing handcrafted bedsheets into modern homes, while supporting India’s rich textile traditions.
At the same time, I was entering motherhood, a deeply personal journey that made me re-evaluate what “home” really meant. I longed for slower mornings, meaningful routines, and things around me that held stories, not just style.
Rangkriti became a reflection of that philosophy:
